Rhythm and Bubbles...

Tuesday, 2 September 2008

We had so much fun this weekend at the Rhythm Festival
It was like a mini holiday for us after all the stress and hard work of the last few months!
The feeling of 'calm' drifted through the sunny days,
We found ourselves 'back to normal' again!

We chilled out and spent our time being a family again...
Shared our happiness,
Felt what life is really about...

The weather was beautiful on Friday and Saturday...
The sun came out to play with us,
The music was great...

We danced and played and laughed and sang...

Spent time with our friends (Angels God Parents)...
Who like us are so busy trying to keep up with this crazy life,
we hardly get to see them...

Until it was all too much excitement for one weekend...

We took our last journey in the little red car,
No longer economically viable on this 'journey' of ours,

I know now in my heart that we are making the right decision to go to India. Evangel is such a 'Free Spirit', she thrives outside whether rain or shine...

When she's surrounded by nature and people, her serious little face lights up and a smile spreads across her face...

We are most definitely a 'cage free family', as they say:

"Watch us change everything about ourselves as we discover our true values and apply them to our lives; finding out what we are really made of: Love and Happiness."

What a lovely time you all had :)

I think children naturally thrive in the great outdoors but as they grow they're taught by our kind of society that the outdoors is a big, dangerous place so better to stay home and play with computer games etc. Such a shame. I'm just glad my kids had their formative years in Norway where people spend far more time outside.

You always have such lovely posts!! Your beautiful daughter is definitley very, very lucky - I wish my parents had such a good sense of perspective on life!

I have an aubergine in the fridge to try that recipe btw...!
